A starting point for a discussion on marrying Agile methods and CMMI.The sentiment is fairly close, though Kent may have been misquoted or just uncareful with his choice of words. CMMI dictates *goals* and infers that they include engineering and process quality metrics and improvement. CMMI doesn’t actually dictate any metrics or that any specific thing improve.
I don’t know if it was one of these panelists in a different session, off-line, or someone else somewhere else, but a tweet from the conference claimed all sorts of nonsense supposedly coming from some “authority” on CMM. I’m glad to see the panel treated the content well. This is only the Q&A regarding CMMI.

I’m now working my way through one of the books he refers-to called Tribal Leadership, and there’s another work as a result of reading his book called The Happiness Hypothesis which I’ll be reading after Tribal Leadership.
